At present Indian car market is booming with the launch of new cars every month and with great discounts on the existing cars. If we go a few years back, then there was not much competition in the Indian car market and Maruti was the undisputed leader in the Market. However, today's picture has changed completely with the entry of many new international car makers.

Today's Indians have many choices of cars in front of them, which was missing in the past. India is no more a country of small cars as people are looking for mid segment cars or SUVs. Even local Indian car makers like Maruti-Sazuki and Tata Motors are doing re-branding of their cars so that they can face the increasing competition from the international brands.
