Maruti’s Alto K10 will be powered by a 998cc three-cylinder 'K10B' engine which is popular K series engine by Maruti. Maruti already use K series engines with its models like Wagnor, Swift, Desire etc. Alto’s 998 cc engine gives peak power of 68ps@6200rpm and it also produce high torque of 90Nm@3500 rpm low emissions and Low NVH. Maruti claims Fuel efficiency of 20.2 km per litre for new K series Alto and it further claims that it can attain peak speed from 0 to 100 kmph in just 13.3 seconds. Therefore, we can say that Maruti’s Alto K10 is combination of power with performance. Maruti has launched two variants of car LXi and VXi priced at 3.03 and 3.16 Lakh respectively (Ex-showroom price Delhi). Both models come with AC/heater and power steering. Maruti has launched new version of Alto as Alto K 10 with more powerful K series engine. Maruti claims that new engine will make Alto K 10 more powerful but still retain same high fuel efficiency. Maruti Alto K 10 will now come with powerful k series 998 cc engine which will give peak power of 68ps@6200rpm and will produce high torque of 90Nm@3500 rpm low emissions and Low NVH. Maruti Further claims about Alto K 10 that it can reach speed of 100 KM in just 13.3 seconds which is definitely a good news for all Alto lovers because old Alto 800cc do not have that aggressive peak up.
